The outdoor Swimsuit Competition ("Bikini Passport") of the Miss Grand International 2023 beauty pageant, held on October 12, 2023, was intended to "exhibit the epitome of confidence and beauty on the stage situated at Đà Nẵng Bay, juxtaposed against the azure waters and golden shores of Nami Beach Club (Japanese Resort & Spa, Vietnam), ensuring memorable moments in the resort's awe-inspiring setting". However, the candidates, who were wearing pink two-piece bikinis with a halter top and rosettes on the neck, struggled to walk in their platform stilettos on the wet and extremely slippery rain-soaked tiled-flooring! Miss Grand Bolivia (Victoria Olguin Pol), Miss Grand Haiti (Isnaida Compère) and Miss Grand Paraguay (Maelia Salcines) fell down... and Miss Grand Dominican Republic (Skar Marie) even fell twice! While many other candidates tripped: Miss Grand Bonaire (Ruby Pouchet), Miss Grand Canada (Yuliya Shcherban), Miss Grand Cuba (Sofia Acosta), Miss Grand Japan (Yayoi Machida), Miss Grand Nicaragua (Glennys Medina), Miss Grand Philippines (Nikki de Moura), Miss Grand Seychelles (Shaniah Dick), Miss Grand Thailand (Thaweeporn Phingchamrat) & Miss Grand US Virgin Islands (Heather Marie).
