University of Birmingham social work students Diana and Omar will reflect on the importance of student activism in our current social climate.
They will share their experiences of activism, including working with leaders in social work organisations such as Social Work England, as well as with people with lived experience, practitioners, academics, and other students. They will explore how activism can be achievable for everyone and why it is crucial to be anti-oppressive in a profession striving to commit to social justice.
