We have been requesting removal of the digital intercom system since the landlords switched it without DHCR permission. Our cell phone numbers were put in it without permission, some tenants never put in the intercom, still have no way to open door. Today, we discovered that the intercom announces our phone numbers loudly and to the street! It was bad enough that they give the code to open it to every worker that comes here - now our names & phone numbers are announced. This is a huge security issue.
