From Murray State University's Department of Global Languages and Theatre Arts, in cooperation with the Murray Shakespeare Festival, we present Shakespeare: Ages of Man. This project is intended to be an educational tool to help connect people to the world of Shakespeare. We look at what the world was like in Shakespeare's time and how it appears in the plays, in order to bridge the culture gap between then and now and better understand the great stories that come to life in Shakespeare's works. At a time when we are all starved for live theatre, a group of students, teachers, and local artists got together and used what we had at hand to get back on the stage in our own small way, and create a resource that may spark interest in Shakespeare...or at least help make it seem a little less intimidating. Enjoy, and we can't wait to see you in the theatres again soon!
