The 1969 Plymouth Satellite was produced through the 68-70 range offered up by the Chrysler factory as an uprated car from its predecessor. A restyled body and uprated trim offered on the new “Belvedere” version.
This Bronze metallic painted Satellite’s vin number shows it as a Sport Satellite, 2 door hard top 383 ci V8. Manufactured in 1969 in St Louis MO USA.
Under the black wrinkle coated fibreglass hood is a whole new story! Here lies a Chrysler 440ci bored and stroked out to a 507ci. Running Mopar performance heads and intake manifold with a Holley Dominator 1050 cfm 4 barrel carburettor. High lift cam, MSD ignition system with 8.5mm leads to light the fire with box unit under dash. 4 into 1, 2 inch extractors lead into a twin 3 inch exhaust system. An overhauled cooling system including hoses and clutch type fan. The transmission has an external front mounted cooling system with high stall.
On the inside, the car has a superb black interior. A monster tachometer mounted to the column to keep track of the revs this monster pulls! A stereo and extra water/oil gauges also fitted. Nice trim throughout the cabin with no rips or tears.
Weld racing wheels fitted all around with 275/60/15 on the rears and 225/70/15 up front.
An all out assault on the senses this car, big power, looks and performance.
