Handmilking starts at 5:00.
Follow Kristin and Chase as they do the evening milking.
We use a Hoegger milking system with two 35lb pails. We also have a 2-pail Hoegger belly pail system which we use when we have fewer goats in production in late fall and winter.
We used to use special dairy wipes, but the brand we liked was discontinued. This summer started to use baby wipes with rubbing alcohol added. So far so good. We use Fight Bac spray post-milking.
