Topic: Trauma Signs and Symptoms in Children
Genia Bonchuk is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in trauma therapy for children and adolescents. Mrs. Bonchuk received her BA and Master of Arts: Language Arts and Education from National Pedagogical University, Ukraine. Mrs. Bonchuk went on to receive her second Masters degree at Nova Southeastern University of Florida. For the past 6 years, Genia has been conducting trauma therapy within community based agencies along with working within the Florida school systems providing onsite intensive therapy for children. Mrs. Bonchuk is trained in multiple trauma modalities such as EMDR, R-TEP/ G-TEP (recent traumatic episode), Evidence based Emotional Freedom Technique, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Behavioral Therapy.
