Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi died on Monday at the age of 86.
Italian media report that Berlusconi died at a hospital in Milan.
He had reportedly been suffering from a lung infection linked to chronic leukemia.
Berlusconi served as Italian prime minister three times, making him Italy's longest-serving prime minister.
He was also a billionaire businessman who created Italy's largest media company, Mediaset and was the owner of the Italian football club AC Monza
Berlusconi's career was tainted by multiple sex scandals and corruption charges.
