This is a review of the album "The Catastrophist" by the band Tortoise that was released January 22, 2016 on Thrill Jockey Records. This review also features a brief introduction of the band and their sound as well as some recommendations. This is a track by track review of The Catastrophist with an original soundtrack provided by me. I would have liked to feature the music off of the Catastrophist but it is copyrighted material and so I used my music as background to avoid any copyright claims.
