These cookies are great for Christmas or any Season.
1 1/2 sticks of softened butter, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1 egg, 1 Tablespoon Milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 2 1/4 cup old-fashioned oats, 1 cup raisins.
Colored sprinkles, colored sugar, candy dots, 8 oz melted milk chocolate with 1 Tablespoon solid shortening combined.
Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, milk and vanilla till fluffy.. Stir together flour, cinnamon,baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Add flour slowly to wet ingredients. With a spoon add oats and raisins. Chill dough for 1 hour Pinch off a golf ball-size piece of dough and roll out with your fingers on a floured surface into 1/2 inch thick rope, 6 inches long. Form a circle and pinch ends together, lightly press down on cookie. Dip into green sugar and place red dots on wreath (Optional) and then bake. Or melt chocolate and dip cookies when cool and apply sprinkles. Yield 3 dz. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes. Grease pan with solid shortening
