in todays Bali waterfall trip travel video I visit Goa Gong in Sulangai village, Badung regency, Bali, Indonesia.
Bali is home to some fabulous waterfalls and I suggest to Add a visit to Goa Gong to your things to do/places to visit Bali list. This waterfall offers A REAL BALI EXPERIENCE.
Goa Gong is a relatively new waterfall which the owner informed me has only opened around 3 months ago. The owners here are super friendly and very welcoming. watch my video to see one of the owners give a detailed history of the waterfall and explain why the waterfall is named Goa Gong.
The owners have done a nice job here in creating a nice access pathway down to the waterfall. if you are travelling via motorbike then you can drive down to a parking area created at the side of the pathway and then you have just a short walk to the waterfall. if you are travelling via car then you will have to park at the top (by the entrance) and will have an approximate 15 minute walk to the waterfall.
Goa Gong is a fabulous small waterfall that cascades into a small pool at the base of the waterfall then flows down stream and connects with a river. the scenery here around the river area is quite divine.
the water at the base of the waterfall is quite shallow and therefore makes Goa Gong an ideal waterfall visit for families with young children. don't get to close to the waterfall as the cascade is very strong and feels like being hit with a hammer (I know as I stupidly stood under the waterfall).
there are changing and shower facilities located not to far from the waterfall. near the changing facility location there are 2 beautiful handcrafted platform creations that are ideal for perfect picture opportunities with the waterfall in the background.
there are currently no food options available near this waterfall however there is a restaurant currently under construction on site near the waterfall.
Entrance Fee: 20,000idr
