Selena looked at Nick, startled. "What are you doing here?"
"I was coming to ask if you wanted to hang out," Nick shrugged. "I didn't expect to want to vomit after your little show."
Selena scowled at him. "He's my boyfriend, Nick. What'd you expect?"
"I expected for you to get a room," Nick said, smirking.
Selena gave a disgusted sigh and turned to walk inside her house.
"Wait," Nick chuckled, catching her arm. He examined her expression. "Babe, I was kidding."
"I don't care," Selena sighed, opening the door to her house. NIck pulled it closed. "What?" Selena asked, irritated.
"Are you going to hang out with me?" he asked.
"No," she snapped, walking into her house and slamming the door in his face.
The next day, Selena was sitting on the couch in her living room, talking with Miley on the phone.
"Do you want to hang out today?" Selena wondered. "We could see a movie or get something to eat or whatever."
Miley groaned. "I can't. My mom's boyfriend is bringing her out to dinner and I have to go because my brother, Cody, is going."
Selena sighed. "That sucks."
"I know," Miley sighed, too. "How about tomorrow?"
"Okay," Selena agreed. "Talk to you later."
Selena hung up the phone and looked at the clock. 8:00 p.m. She gave a frustrated sigh and stood up. She grabbed her jacket and pulled it on. Selena walked out of her house.
Two hours later, Selena was walking down the street, trying to get back home. She'd just walked around for two hours and she was bored.
Suddenly, a motorcycle zoomed by. It slowed and then backed up, stopping beside her. Nick took off his helmet and smirked at her.
"Are you stalking me?" Selena asked.
Nick laughed. "No. I was heading to Demi's house. Where are you going?"
"My house," Selena said.
Nick raised his eyebrows. He grabbed his helmet and handed it to her. "Hop on."
Selena bit her lip. "No, that's okay. I'll-"
"Babe, you're nowhere near your house. It's ten o' clock at night. And I'm not letting you walk home. Hop on."
"What about your helemt?" she asked.
"I've ridden my bike without a helmet before," Nick said. "Hop on," he repeated, patting the seat behind him.
She straddled the bike and pulled the helmet on. She hesitantly wrapped her arms around Nick's waist and he sped off.
Twenty minutes later, Nick stopped in front of her house. She climbed off the bike and handed him the helmet. She turned to go. "Hey, babe," he said.
Selena looked at him. "Huh?"
"What are you doing at twelve o' clock tonight?" Nick asked.
Selena furrowed her eyebrows. "Sleeping."
"Well, change your plans," Nick said. "You're going to a party with me."
"But-"
"Nope," Nick interrupted her. "You're coming."
"But-" Selena started again.
Nick reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out her phone.
"Hey!" Selena protested, reaching for it.
Nick twisted away from her, pulling out his phone, too. After a few moments, he handed back her phone. "There. If you don't come with me, I'll keep calling every five minutes." He smirked at her. She scowled back.
"You're a jerk," she spat.
"So I've heard," Nick chuckled. "I'll see you later tonight." He pulled his helmet on. "Bye, babe."
Nick sped off before Selena could protest.
