The Nobel Prize in Literature for 1934 was awarded to Luigi Pirandello. This is a reflection on Six Characters in Search of an Author (Sei personaggi in cerca d'autore), his most influential play and a landmark of 20th-century theatre. English translation by Eric Bentley published by Signet in 1998. In the spirit of Pirandello, this review/analysis is presented as a discussion or plan for a review/analysis.
