SpaceX's Genius Solution On Starship METAL Heat Shield Just Humiliates NASA Shuttle!
As Starship Flight 7 approaches, the space community is more eager than ever to witness the grand launch of the next generation of Starship.
Not only is it taller and carries more propellent, but the Block 2 hardware also features a number of upgrades, with the highlight being the heat shield.
With the recent hints about a new type of heatshield with metallic outskin, the SpaceX fans really hope to see it to be tested in the upcoming flight.
Find out everything in today's episode.

After six Starship test flights, SpaceX is now confident to enter the seventh attempt which will witness the introduction of block 2. Now, the mega-rocket has been licensed to fly but has remained unclear the exact launch date.
With the FAA’s approval in place, attention now turns to the mission objectives for Flight 7. The test flight will look similar to its last two launches, including the launch of the combined Starship/Super Heavy vehicle from Boca Chica, Texas, and a return to the launch site of the Super Heavy booster rocket for a catch attempt by the launch tower, and a water landing of the Starship vehicle in the Indian Ocean west of Australia.
While sharing the same objectives with Flight 6, the hardware of the upcoming flight will have significant innovations, particularly the unexpectedly enhanced heat shield.

A heat shield's purpose is to protect an object or person from overheating or burning by reflecting, absorbing, or dissipating heat. Heat shields are commonly used in the aerospace and automotive industries. The most common material for a heat shield is carbon phenolic. Carbon-carbon composites are another material used in rocket components that need to withstand extreme heat, such as rocket nozzles.
If a heat shield fails during reentry, the spacecraft could burn up or suffer significant damage, potentially resulting in the loss of the vehicle and its crew.
