If you know-you know!!!! Lava sauce was a key component in the Volcano menu of Taco Bell back from 2008 to 2013, with a brief re-apperance in 2015.

It took some investigating and some research but I think I came up with a very decent dupe for the Lava sauce. There is not a whole lot of 'copycat' recipes for it on the net, so conspiracy theory fans do with that what you will!
Hopefully you will enjoy it, while it may not be *exactly* the same-the over all vote was this sauce was amazing on its own and deserves to be made for your own homemade burritos, quesdillas or even as a marinade! Enjoy!

4 big Red Jalapenos, roasted
about 1/2 T White vinegar
1/2 tsp Brown sugar
1/4 tsp Cumin
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/8 tsp Black pepper
1/4 tsp Paprika
1/4 tsp Smoked Paprika
1/4 tsp Cayanne Pepper or to taste
2.5 T of Taco Bell Fire Sauce (if from the bottle, otherwise use 4 packets from the restaurant)
6 T great quality Mayonnaise, like Hellman's
5 T or one cheese packet from a ORIGINAL Kraft Macaroni and Cheese Box
water if needed to thin the pepper mix from blender
