Eliud Kipchoge has been dominating the Marathon world for the past 5 or 6 years. On September 16, 2018, Kipchoge broke the world record in the marathon by running a time of 2:01:39. Since that time, the running world has been constantly asking "What will Kipchoge do in his next marathon?"
Well, on April 28, 2019, we will get that answer, as Kipchoge is running the London Marathon where he'll be attempting to win his 4th title.
In hot pursuit of marathon glory is Mo Farah of Great Britain who will also be competing in the London Marathon this year.
Last year in October, Farah won the Chicago Marathon with a time of 2:05:11. This was his first major marathon victory.
Over the past 2 years, Farah has been steadily improving in the marathon, and with momentum on his side and much less pressure, I'm sure he will be tracking Kipchoge for the majority of the race.
Who do you think will win the London Marathon?
Personally, my money is on Kipchoge, but I wish Farah all the best.
