Maintaining image sharpness is really easy once you know what causes soft fuzzy ones. People mostly blame the autofocus but in my experience AF is very accurate. The problem lies in it not being set up properly for the shot you're taking.
Another major player cause of sogt images is camera shake. ([ Ссылка ]) It's caused by tiny movements of the camera magnified through the lens. If you don't have a fast enough shutter speed to freeze this movement you won't get a sharp picture.
Depth of field can also be an issue when it comes to front to back image sharpness. You have to consider how much front to back sharpness you want in your image and set the correct depth of field to achieve it. Otherwise you'll have only part of your picture sharp.
I always zoom into the image in the camera's LCD to check sharpness whilst on location. There's nothing worse than finding you have a soft image when you get home and the opportunity to re-shoot a sharp one has gone. Take your time and think your image sharpness through.
