About 10 DRC government soldiers and 26 civilians were killed on Wednesday morning when Ugandan rebel fighters, the Allied Democratic Forces, attacked the border outpost of Kamango. The rebels also looted shops and health centers and captured a number of weapons after over-running positions of government forces. Thousands of Congolese refugees who fled the attack have been sent to a transit camp in Bundibugyo district.
