Malarikkal is a small tourism village located in Kottayam District, Kerala. Its 9 KM away from Kottayam and 12 KM from Kumarakom. Malarikkal has become most visited tourist destination since 2019. Waterlilies blossom season is from July end to September end. Its so amazing to see pink flowers blossom everywhere. Tourists can take a small boat and experience a ride boat. Rowing boat cost Rs. 100/- per person per hour it does not go too far and Motor boat cost Rs. 1000/- which takes other side of backwaters where you can see lot of flowers and very less crowd, recommended for a photoshoot. Do not miss, if you have plans to visit Kumarakom or Alleppey during above mentioned months.
