Meet Mr Jyoti Raj @ Kothi Raj, a free solo climber from Chitradurga in Karnataka State who can scale any heights with just his bare hands. You could call him India's Spider man, but he prefers calling himself Kothi Manusha or Monkey Man.
Following his natural ability, recognition has come in the form of invitations to climb heights from various parts of the world. His dream is to win a medal for India in the rock-climbing competition which has been included in the Olympics in the recent past. Raj plans to climb the rock face along Angel Falls, the world’s highest waterfalls in Venezuela, in one go for a movie on him produced and directed by an Indian Origin Australian director.
He is the only person to have scaled Karnataka's highest waterfall, the 830-foot Jog falls, climbing against the flow. He does not use any harness other than chock powder and an ordinary shoes.
He made his debut as an actor in Sandalwood with the 2014 film Jyothi @ Kothiraj
