Congress said it's MLAs use the money to buy gifts and accused BJP of buying MLAs and destabilizing the government. Irfan Ansari's father said, " On 8th there is a function of Tribal community, every year they distribute sarees over there. I don't know why people thought the cash carried in the van was to buy MLAs and destabilize the government. One MLAs will be sold for 16 lac RS? Is it a Dal and Rice?"
