In this video, you will get to learn about how MX records work, what SPF is, and how DKIM helps in preventing email phishing, spoofing and spamming.
MX records - Mail Exchanger (MX) records are records that help in determining where an email should be routed to, on the internet. They act like a virtual address book and help in delivering the emails to the appropriate mailbox in compliance with the email sending protocols.
SPF - Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is a record that lists the email servers that are authorized to send emails from your domain. Configuring SPF records for your domain prevents spammers from sending emails using your domain name and also helps in maintaining a good domain reputation.
DKIM - DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) is an authentication method that validates whether an email is sent from an authorized server. This authentication helps in preventing spam email, spoofing and phishing.
