This is a great example how to work and load a very long line setup with a large size #2 heavy tarpon fly on a fixed tenkara rod. This is a part spey, part roll cast that water loads the line for a fairly simple cast which effectively gets the line out there. The presentation is also soft considering we are using a 60lb shock tip which translates into a very heavy leader/tippet combo. The cast is also extremely accuate on the Kyojin and small minor adjustments can be made to place the fly exactly where you need it - typically up close, tucked along side the mangroves.
