I touch on how to get a literary agent, the query process, offers of representation, big name agents, closed lists and more.

Some agents are great at editorial work. Some are tremendous deal-makers negotiating substantial contracts with big advances and huge foreign rights deals. Some are more personable than others. Some are huge on social media and others don’t use it. Overall it’s important to find the right agent for you. Hint: it’s usually the agent most passionate about your writing.
