An indie title developed by debut game makers Ember Labs, we have a visually beautiful world in which a young spirit guide named Kena is on a journey to a sacred place of power.

This release garnered a lot of interest and positive buzz, enough that despite covering few indie titles, let alone at release, I felt compelled to give this one a go. The quality of the visuals and the atmosphere of the forest and its creatures have me curious about whether it can live up to the excitement it generated this year. I spend this 1st little session just getting a feel for the game and its world through its prologue, something that hopefully aids potential buyers of the game too, as there have been no reviews or extended gameplay segments released prior to the game hitting "shelves".
