Today on Another Teaching Moment you will learn about the wide variety of mechanically actuated switches including: Tactile, pushbutton, DIP (Dual In-line Package), limit, slide, rotary, toggle, keylock and rocker. Additionally, you will learn how to identify the basic contact arrangements and actuation such as single pole/single throw (SPST) momentary contact and maintained contact as well as single pole/dual throw (SPDT).
