Time has come! Special Summary Revision programme has started from 3rd October and has been extended to 15th December 2017. Register your name in the electoral roll and be a responsible citizen.
Here’s how you can do so online: -
1. Visit National Voters Service Portal website - [ Ссылка ]
2. If you are a new voter or have shifted your place of residence from one constituency to another constituency, click “Apply online for registration of new voter/due to shifting from AC” link and fill the form. This form is known as Form 6.
3. If you are an Indian citizen but reside outside India due to work or education or any other reason, you can click on “Apply online for registration of overseas voter” i.e. Form 6A and fill up the details.
4. If you wish to delete your name or object to someone else’s name in the electoral roll, click and fill “Deletion or objection in electoral roll” i.e. Form 7.
5. To correct your details, click on and fill up “Correction of entries in electoral roll” i.e. Form 8.
6. If you have shifted from one residence to another but within the same constituency and have already been issued your EPIC (Electors Photo Identity Card), click on and fill up “Transposition within Assembly” i.e. Form 8A.
7. You can also track your application status by clicking on the link and entering the reference ID received.
8. Additionally, on NVSP you can also
a. Find your name in the electoral roll,
b. Find out your polling booth, AC (Assembly Constituency) and PC (Parliamentary Constituency),
c. Find out your BLO (Booth Level Officer), ERO (Electoral Registration Officer) and DEO (District Election Officer).
d. Link to the CEO (Chief Electoral Officer) of your State / Union Territory,
e. Get to know more about the polling process in India and so much more.
And of course, you can do the above by going to your nearest Tehsil office and filling up the physical forms.
