Monday morning, UAW President Shawn Fain, Vice President Rich Boyer, and our UAW-Stellantis national negotiators called on our union family at Sterling Heights Assembly, Local 1700, to join the Stand Up Strike.

Fain, Boyer, Secretary-Treasurer Margaret Mock and Region 1 Director LaShawn English met thousands of members as they walked out on the picket line, shutting down Stellantis's biggest moneymaker.

We said it and we meant it: record profits mean record contracts. Stellantis is the richest of the Big Three, and yet has the weakest offer on the table. The money is there, the cause is just, and the time is now.
