Where is Lakeshore East you ask?
Sandwiched right between Millenium Park and the River, LSE was previously used by Illinois Central Railroad yards.
One of Chicago's newest neighborhoods currently entirely developed by Magellan Development Group starting in 2008 consisting of whopping 28 acres!
Some people refer to this neighborhood as the New Eastside, which would technically include all of Magellan's Lakeshore East developments as well as the greater neighborhood surrounding Lakeshore East that extends westward to Michigan Avenue.
