Hello friends, my name is Dante and I’d like to welcome you to another sexy Resident Evil 2 video. Holy heck it’s been a while hasn’t it? The last gaming challenge video I did on Resident Evil 2 was… let me see here… TWO MONTHS AGO? Oh my god, that hurts. Well, I’m happy to say that I’ll be making tons of Resident Evil challenge videos from now on, so get excited for that boys. But enough of that, let’s jump right into it. So the challenge I decided to tackle today was “Can you beat Resident Evil 2 with only the shotgun”. Unfortunately, only Leon gets to use the shotgun, so we don’t get to see Claire’s damn fine body. I know I know, that’s almost a reason to unsubscribe, but don’t do it guys, you’ll get to see Claire in the next Resident Evil 2 challenge video I make. I did choose normal difficulty for this challenge and I’ll let you know later whether or not I think this challenge is possible on hardcore difficulty.
So we’ve got a few areas to mention along the way. We’ve got Raccoon City and the whole RPD before getting the shotgun, the first boss fight with Birkin (spoiler, this is the hardest boss fight in the challenge and stick around to see why), the sewers and what I did to yeet myself around the undead, the second Birkin boss battle at the crane, how I got around the Ivys in the lab, and the final two fights with Birkin and that bald stud. Seeing that forehead just makes me want to tuck him into bed and kiss him goodnight. Oh yeah, and I did this challenge on PS4. Does… does that even matter?
Ok so getting into the challenge- WOAH WOAH WAIT, slow down there guys don’t get too excited just yet. We have to quickly go over the rules. You rascally scoundrels. Alrighty, so anything goes as long as I only use my shotgun to damage and or kill an enemy. So what am I allowed to do? I’m allowed to upgrade my shotgun, I’m allowed to use healing items, and I’m allowed to use my shotgun however I want, whenever I want. What am I NOT allowed to do? I’m not allowed to use any weapon other than the shotgun. This means no handgun, no lightning hawk, no grenades, no flashbangs, no knives, etc. Basically if an Ivy grabs me I’m screwed. I’m also not allowed to switch the difficulty if the challenge gets too hard. I’m not a child. I’m a frigging MAN. And I can’t use any other weapon to damage or stun enemies. So even though the handgun wouldn’t kill an Ivy if I shot it a few times, I’m still not allowed to use it.
Oke oke, so we start this night off like any other normal night-JESUS CHRIST IT’S A ZOMBIE! At this point we don’t have a shotgun, so instead of upholding the law we’re just going to leave the scene of a crime. Bye bye zombie!
And now we arrive at the RPD and just like that, Leon’s mission is complete. Little does he know though, his journey is just getting started. So alright cool, we’re in the RPD and we can now get the shotgun. There’s only one problem… the shotgun is locked behind a glass case and the only way to get it is to traverse about half of the RPD defenseless. Me neither Leon. Me neither. So I used my epic gamer skills to dodge zombies like a boss, and I definitely DID NOT take ten minutes to open the portable safe.
