(31 May 1976) The United Nations Secretary-General, Dr Kurt Waldheim, has called on the world's governments to promote the social changes needed to ensure minimum standards of decent housing for everyone. Dr Kurt Waldheim was speaking at the opening of the UN Habitat Conference On Human Settlements.
