CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A man police say led them on a high-speed chase appeared in court Friday morning.
A deputy tried to stop 28-year-old Troy Mahaffey for speeding and reckless driving in Green Township Thursday, but they say he took off.
According to the police report, Mahaffey went left of center and crashed into another car at Simpson Avenue and W. North Bend in College Hill. His girlfriend and 3-week-old daughter were also in the car. Both were taken to the hospital.
The girlfriend is being treated for life-threating injuries.
Mahaffey is charged with aggravated vehicular assault. He's being held on a $100,000 bond.
