Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says there have been no COVID-19 cases recorded in the state.
She said it was a “double donut day” as there have been no new locally acquired nor overseas infections in the last 24 hours.
Ms Palaszczuk said there were 8,332 tests and 13,184 vaccines administered, with 72.47 per cent of Queenslanders having their first dose and 56.9 per cent are fully vaccinated.
She said central Queenslanders should get vaccinated as rates in the regions were low and there were 400,000 residents who were yet to receive even one shot.
