Sadly, a dramatic stretch of coastline at the Gower in the care of the National Trust has been affected by biodiversity and habitat loss. But thanks to the support of National Trust members, the conservation charity is now working to bring native blossom back to the Gower, the UK’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Watch this video to discover how this will create more homes for wildlife and attract a wide range of species.
The National Trust is working with volunteer groups to plant new hedgerows, flowering trees and shrubs, such as crab apple and blackthorn. These measures will not only provide habitat and food for wildlife and pollinators but also create vibrant blossom displays each spring. Discover how we are managing this coastal landscape and creating spaces where humans and nature can thrive.
