How to lay floor screeding. Floor Screed levels need to be ascertained from a fixed datum point using a laser level followed by placement of screed battens in order to manoeuvre the screeding bar/edges between two statutory/level points. The floor screed is then compacted ensuring high density is achieved throughout the thickness of the screed. The floor screed is then wood floated to even out the floor screed material followed by steel trowel finishing allowing the cement contained in the floor screed to close off screed surface.
