This is a video focusing on how to program electronic drums and loops for live performances using Ableton Live 11 and MIDI mapping. I’ve used my Roland TD27KV V-Drums and SPD-SX as playing and control surfaces and it’s all connected via my iConnectivity PlayAUDIO12 fail-proof live playback interface and Mio XM.
I used my Ableton project for the Olympics Homecoming Concert at Wembley Arena to demonstrate this. For the gig we played with Laura Mvula, Anne-Marie, YungBlud, Griff, Mica Paris, KSI, Spirituals Choir and Nile Rodgers. My role was to recreate the electronic drums and rhythmic loops live.
Hope you like it and drop a comment below for any questions of insights :)
