This only works in the Japanese version of Echoes (Dark Echoes). Press A to put away scan visor and then initiate a lock-on. This functions normally as a regular scan, it pauses IGT and room loads. If this somehow didn't pause room loads then Dark Echoes would probably be pretty damn competitive looool
