Back in the woodshop today. I used several pieces of wood scraps. Each of the pieces are secured with wood dowels. I stained the piece with Folk Art Walnut wood tint. I dry painted the pumpkin with orange acrylic paint and the stem is a mixture of burnt umber and dark green acrylic paints. I added a rusty spring from an old screen door for the final touch. Add some sealer to this and you've got a beautiful porch decor piece.
My sewing machine is a Brother SQ9185: 130-Stitch Computerized Sewing & Quilting Machine with Built-in Sewing Font, Wide Table. It has been discontinued but I believe the new version is: Brother SQ9285.
Most of my shop tools are from Harbor Freight. The nail gun is a Bostitch.
