Welcome to the Lab, this week on Extract All the Things, we are doing an ethanol extraction of Lavender using a soxhlet! We ended up yielding an interesting product. Lavender smells soooo amazing, its quite remarkable how different the crude extract smells when compared to the raw material! overall Lavender is a fun one to extract! In the future we will do a steam distillation of lavender!
