In this video I show you how to attach an emoji to a face step by step inside adobe after effects. We use the free demo version of AE Face Tool by Motion Bro.
The first step is to download the free motion bro plugin from motionbro.net. Then install the AE Face tools starter pack (also free). Next, import your footage and place it into a composition.
Now click on the ellipse tool and draw a mask around the face. Next, go to the tracking panel and click on track forward (make sure face tracking, detailed features is selected). Set a rest pose and click on extract and copy face measurements.
Now open up the AE Face tools extension and scroll down to emoji. Select the emoji you want to replace your face with. Go to the settings, and adjust the anchor point so the emoji is over top of your face.
