This video shows a middle level layer of altocumulus clouds moving from west to east (right to left). The time lapse covers a period of 1 hour and 20 minutes (time lapse length is 1 minute 20 seconds). Notice the movement within the altocumulus cells. Not only do the cells form and dissipate (condense and evaporate), you will notice waves rippling through the layer causing cloud waves to form at the crest of the waves and for a clear line to form as the cloud evaporates. Near the end the video shows the sky darken as the Sun sets.
