Here is an updated practice track of Djole with better sound quality and a slightly faster tempo. It includes two djembe parts and three dundun parts. Djole is a popular rhythm that originated in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
If you would like for it to be faster or slower, you can change the tempo incrementally by going to settings, playback speed, and custom (up top).
You can learn the parts included here from master drummer Fara Tolno's Rhythm Reference Project ([ Ссылка ]) and Djembe Guru ([ Ссылка ]). If you like what I'm doing, you'll love what he's doing!
That being said, you can use other parts learned elsewhere. There are lots of different ways to arrange Djole.
I did this track and many more in response to the social isolation related to COVID-19. I had no one to drum with, and I figured others were in the same situation.. You’ll find lots of other practice tracks on my YouTube channel.
Enjoy!
