In April, 2018, our good friend Keith took us to visit the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve near Canberra, Australia. My fondest wish was to see a platypus in the wild. Not only was that wish fulfilled at Tidbinbilla, but we also saw a koala in the wild, and a kind of animal Keith, a native Australian, had never seen in the wild before, not to mention kangaroos hopping through the forest, eating with ducks and other birds, a pelican, swans, cockatoo, and more.
