In this video I reveal in depth information in regards to the best snook fishing locations, times and lures. I explain in detail where to catch snook during different seasons of the year, spring, winter, summer and fall.
Here are the basic things you need for catching these fish:
1. You must fish the migration areas during different times of year, revealed in the video.
2. There has to be moving water. A strong tide is always best in my opinion.
3. There has to be some sort of structure for snook to be present. They like bridges, rocky areas, docks, mangroves and areas that provide shade during the day. You will find them in the shadow areas at nighttime and during the day.
4. Grass flats are great for early morning snook fishing when there's some sort of structure near by.
Here's a list of my best snook fishing lures:
1. Broken Back Rebel
2. Rapala X Rap

3. Yo Zuri minnow that looks like a green back shiner
4. Snook jigs that can be purchased from First Light Tackle on the east coast of Florida. [ Ссылка ]
What are the best places to snook fish during different seasons of the year?
A. Winter, December, January and Feburary, you will find that snook migrate to warmer water in the creeks and rivers.
B. March , April and May, you will find them in the inner coastal water ways around bridges, seawalls, grass flats...
C. During June, July and August, the fish will be hanging out in the passes or inlets around jetties and on the beaches. This is the time of year when they spawn.
D. September, October and November the snook are migrating through the inner coastal waterways (bay waters) and can be caught around pilings, grass flats, docks, seawalls and rocky areas.
The best lures to catch snook on in any of these locations or times of year are the minnow type lures I featured in the video.
Recently I added snook fishing jigs to my list of the best lures. I've caught several snook on jigs in a couple of months since I started fishing with them. These are great for fishing off of bridges.
If you are fising from a boat, the Rapala X Rap, the Rebel Broken Back or jig work great. When casting lures from a bridge, jigs and artificial shrimp work good. When casting from the seawall, I always fish for snook with the minnow type lures.
