Rice bale palletizing: [ Ссылка ]
FANUC America Authorized System Integrator Integrated Solutions develops, implements and supports robotic solutions to complex material handling challenges for customers in a variety of industries. The system seen here from Integrated Solutions uses a FANUC M-410iC/185 palletizing robot with FANUC’s PalletTool Turbo software to pick a variety of different sized rice bales from two different conveyors. Each rice bale is placed in one of ten individually assigned pack patterns on designated pallet stations. This process is overseen by an operator through a customized HMI interface.
Integrated Solutions was able to accomplish incredibly smooth transition between the picking and placing processes by using a custom end of arm tool along with some additional customizations to FANUC’s highly flexible PalletTool Turbo software. The side fork method used by the FANUC palletizing robot prevents tearing or other damage to the bales.
The large variation in bale sizes calls for a tool that can pick up one or two bales, dependent on size. Strategic programming allows the FANUC robot to create layers of differing types on multiple pallets. The end of arm tool adapts in real time for what loads are on the infeed conveyors, what bales are already placed on the pallets, as well as adding slip sheets at specified increments. Integrated Solutions was able to achieve maximum throughput for their customer by carefully optimizing all programmed motions through extensive testing in both simulated and real world environments. The footage in this video was shot in Integrated Solutions’ technology center during the testing and demonstration process. The system was then deconstructed, shipped to the customer, and reconstructed on site.
