Featuring a long row of Twyfords Washbasins, a long row of Twyfords Urinals with two original cisterns. All from 1906.
First cubicle consists of an original cast iron cistern, made by Thomas Green & Co for T & W Farmiloe who supplied all the fittings for these public WCs, hence the variation. WC pans in both cubicles are Adamsez Shieldos, a 1909 catalogue of T & W Farmiloe shows very similar fittings supplied & drawn but through the option of Fireclay cisterns. Cubicle number 2 consists of a replacement 1950s W & J Lawley 401x cistern. Still looks and works extremely well. The first WC has a leaking thread on the flushpipe coupling, for some reason, a leak in that area impacts these cisterns massively. But other than that, pure perfection still intact here. Part of a heritage organization.
