What to do when you forgot to book at Klook?
We're about to skip the Floating Market and find an alternative destination but I don't want to change the itinerary so we decided to go DIY! I have no idea how to get there but luckily I found a helpful Facebook post with the information about getting there. Let's explore and enjoy watching!
Tip: If you plan to go DIY, I suggest you leave early in the morning; maybe between 7am to 8am. In our case, we arrived at the bus station around 930am and we were told the next trip will be 1030am. But the shuttle was late! We left around 12 noon and arrived at the market by 230pm.
We visited on Saturday but a lot of shops were closed. I am not so sure when is the best time of day to visit the market. But the Coconut Ice-cream is heaven! must try!
Note: I apologize, I really had a hard pronouncing the name of the market hahaha (Damnoen!)

80baht/pax - Bus ride from BKK Southern Bus Terminal to Damnoen Saduak (and vice versa)
600baht/pax - Floating Market Boat Ride (we were dropped at the terminal back to BKK)
A place to visit near the Damnoen Floating Market: 👣
- Maeklong Train Market (45baht - Bus ride from Damnoen to Maeklong)
- Amphawa Floating Market (They offer two Floating Market Tours, and the rate is higher)
- Chang Puak Farm
*So leave early if you want to go visit other places besides Damnoen Floating Market.
