In this episode we explore the Mead stone Chamber and 1700 to 1800 rock walls, built by our early American colonialist in Kent NY Putnam county.

Part 2 - Hawk Rock and the Wolf Clan
Will explore Hawk Rock at the end of the orange trail and historically is told was a sacred location of the early Native Americans the latest being the Nochpeem a clan of the Wappinger Confederacy.
The Wappinger - were of the Wolf Clan, they were referred to as loup, or wolf by the the French. They spoke Algonquin with an R dialect. The Nochpeem was one of there main tribes in the Kent and Carmel NY area.
