The Philadelphia Orchard Project (POP) plants and supports community orchards in the city of Philadelphia, envisioning a city where everyone has access to fresh food, clean air, and peaceful green spaces. POP works with community groups to plan, plant, and nurture orchards filled with useful and edible plants in formerly vacant lots, community gardens, schoolyards, and other spaces. As of 2023, POP has partnered with 68 orchards in 24 zip codes in Philly.
