Mughalpura Railway Station is one of the oldest railway stations of Lahore. The date written on the Mughalpur Railway Station shows that this building was built in 1912. This is a branch line which goes to Delhi via Amritsar. There are 6 railway stations from Lahore Junction to Wagah Junction. The total length of this railway line is 25 kilometers. After the emergence of Pakistan, poor migrant trains from India also used to reach Lahore on the same line. Due to this, many heart-wrenching incidents were preserved in the heart of this station. This was the first stop of the Samjhauta Express between Pakistan and India.
